First Day of School

 Walker - 3rd grade

Anna Grace - 6th grade

Last Day of Summer :(

 After getting our nails done, Anna Grace and I ran an few errands.  We filled out all the paperwork to register her for her new school, met most of her teachers and and also decorated her locker.  Pretty cute huh?  We also picked up a few of the bracelets that are all the rage in Tupelo.  They will look great with her dress for the 1st day of school!

You wonder what Walker was doing while we were out running errands....why hanging out with Charlie, of course!!!  This is how they roll!!!

 

Before School Tradition

 Anna Grace and I have a tradition of getting a manicure and pedicure before school starts.  I think this is the 4 or 5th year of this tradition!  We always enjoy getting off for just some girl time pampering before the rush of school starts. 

 Anna Grace chose a light purple to go with her dress.   She also got little flowers on the thumbs and big toes!  Perfect for the first day of 6th grade!!  (sniff, sniff)

Last Hurrah of Summer!!

We decided that we needed a little get away before schools started.  So we headed to Florence, AL to the Marriott Hotel.  It was absolutely wonderful!  The pool was fabulous with a slide, fountains and beach style entry.  It also had a huge splash park and playground!!  The kids were in hog heaven!! 

 On Saturday, several other families from Tupelo joined us.  The kids had a great time playing all afternoon.  We ate at the local Italian restaraunt with the Barbers.  Anna Grace and Ella were inseperable as were Walker and Chip.

 After a stop by Target, we headed for home.  We thoroughly enjoyed our last hurrah of summer!

Happy Birthday Bebe!!

God has blessed us with such a thoughtful and loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. 

We are so thankful for love, guidance and support.

Wave Connection Camp

 Anna Grace enjoyed a week of singing and dancing at Wave Connection Camp.  They practiced every day and performed for family and friends at the end of the week.  She absolutely loved it!

The Beach...Again!

The kids headed back to the beach later in July with Nana and PopPop.  They shared a condo with Aunt Kris, Uncle Hamp, Lily & Reid.  The kids always have a great time playing together.  Since they live in Brandon, we don't get to see them very often so they make the most of the time they do have to play!  They stayed on the bay side in Orange Beach and only went to the beach one day, which was fine with the kids because they loved the pool!  They stayed at the pool most of the time, but did venture out for a dolphin cruise and a stop by The Track!

 Walker was the only one who wanted to ride the go carts so Uncle Hamp willingly rode with him.

They even enjoyed some down time to just hang out!

Wondering what Scott and I were doing while the kids were at the beach???  Well, we decided to make a quick trip to the Peabody in Memphis.  We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Flight and all the sights and sounds of Beale St.  And of course, we had to make a stop by Target on the way home!!
