Fort Walton Cheer Competition

The last DCA cheer competition for the season was in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  We LOVE our beach competitions and usually make it into a mini vacation. 

 

The kids enjoyed the beach, but liked the pool better!

The resort had several pools.  One had an obstacle course the kids enjoyed.  Walker stayed on it so much the 1st day that his hands were torn up!!

On Saturday we found out that Anna Grace made the Middle School Cheer Squad!!  (This listed her name as Anna Kate Wise by mistake!)  She was allowed to video her tryout because she was out of town.  We were thrilled and are looking forward to watching he on the sidelines this fall!

We were so proud of these girls.  They placed 2nd out of 7 squads!!  Go Stars!!

We had a great time at the beach and can't wait for a longer stay next time!!

 

April Ambush Soccer Tournament

The April Ambush Soccer Tournament was held in Oxford in April.  It was a beautiful weekend, and we had a great time watching lots of great soccer.  The boys played very hard and made it to the semi-finals.  We were so proud of how well their team played against tough competition! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Easter!!

Happy Resurrection Day!!  We are so thankful that Jesus didn't stay in the tomb!  He has risen!! Hallelujah!!

We had a great time at spending the afternoonw with our family.  It was a rainy day so we didn't get outside to hunt Easter eggs.  The kids watched a couple of movies and played upstairs.  The little ones did hunt some eggs downstairs.  But mostly everyone just hung out and visited. 

 

 

 

Sweet Friends!

Anna Grace had a cheer competition in Tupelo recently and sweet Caroline came to cheer her on!!  They came in 3rd place, but they did a great job!!

Spring Break 2013

We spent Spring Break at home this year, but the kids had a very full week! 

 Anna Grace went to Winter Jam 2013 with Caroline and Caroline.  They said it was great, but very loud!

 We went to lunch at O'Charlie's the first day of Spring Break.  I think Walker ate 2 baskets of rolls!!

Anna Grace and Merritt hung out over Spring Break.  They went to Birmingham with Merritt's church group and had a great time.  Afterwards, they enjoyed the BBQ Duel downtown while Scott grilled! 

Walker had a fun Spring Break hanging out with Sam, Jared and the neighborhood boys.  He also played in his 1st tournament as a Muddawg.  They didn't win, but they played hard and had fun!
