Spring Break 2010
Spring Break fun in the Sandestin sun!
Loving their bunk beds!
The kids were dying to jump on the bungee trampolines at Bay Town.
Bundled up for a round of put-put.
We a loved breakfast at "Another Broken Egg."
So glad that the pools were heated!!
Just relaxing with a good book!
We had a wonderful time in Sandestin for Spring Break! It was a little chilly most of the week, but we enjoyed the beach and (heated) pools. We headed to the outlet and put put on the day that it was cloudy and a little rainy. Of course, Scott won put put, but we all had a great time! Since Friday was sunny and warm, we decided to stay one more day. It was so nice on the beach building sand castles, hunting shells and playing football. We were all sad to say good-bye to the beach on Saturday morning and head back to the "real" world of school & work!

Sweet Meg
We welcomed sweet Meg into our extended family on Wednesday, March 3rd. We are so excited for Josh and Miley. We haven't seen Meg since she was in the nursery and couldn't wait to be able to hold her today. Anna Grace begged to hold her first. I almost couldn't get her to let me hold her! Walker just watched her and decided that he didn't want to hold her. He said she was really little. Meg is absolute precious! We are looking forward to watching her grow into all God plans her to be.
Just the Boys
Walker was so excited that Wesley came to spend the night Friday. Anna Grace spent the night with Wesley's sister, Kaylee Beth so the boys had the house to themselves. We ate supper at CiCi's Pizza and on the way out the door, the boys saw a gumball machine with fake teeth in it. They had more fun with those funky teeth! Later we went to see "The Tooth Fairy." They thought it was so funny wearing those teeth into the theater!
After the movie, the boys had a great time playing the Wii and then decided they wanted to sleep in a tent. So, we "built" a tent in the den! The boys even made it with different "rooms." Walker was very sweet to let Wesley sleep in the "big room!"
I was very impressed with the manners of these two boys. I heard lots of "yes mams" and "thank yous." They were also very kind to each other. Walker hasn't had many friends spend the night and I wasn't sure what to expect from boys. But so far, I've been very pleasantly surprised! (Of course, it may be because there wasn't a sister at the house to annoy!)

Hangin' with the guys'
I think Walker would have stayed outside all day Sunday! The weather was so nice and he had some buddies over to play. Houston, Sam and Charlie all ended up at our house that afternoon. They had a ball playing basketball, baseball, jumping on the trampoline and just doing what little boys do best - play! I am so glad that Walker has friends in the neighborhood to hang out with on the weekends!
Planet Project
Anna Grace came home with an assignment that is a mom's worst nightmare - a project!!! Luckily, we were given 1 week to complete the "Solar System Diorama" instead of a couple of days. It actually ended up being a pretty fun project for both Anna Grace and me. We researched the planets and came up with facts about each one. Once we figured out what size and color we needed for the planet, we got down and dirty with some foam balls and modeling clay. The tricky part was hanging each planet and finding a way to label them. We both think that it turned out really well - maybe we'll get an "A"!!
