History Lesson

While we were in Brandon recently, we visited the Ag Museum. It was amazing to walk through a cotton gin, see how they picked cotton and visit an old time school, church and store. We even saw printing presses from the early 1900s! It really reminded me of Mayberry!!

Blessed Beyond Measure

Our family was blessed beyond measure by the precious 5 weeks God allowed us to spend with Layne Grace Gaston. He was so gracious to allow us to love her here on earth when we didn't even expect 1 day with her. God used her sweet life to draw so many people to Him, and we look forward seeing how He will continue to touch hearts through Layne's life.
We am so grateful for the love and support of so many friends. Your sweet words of encouragement and especially your prayers are what sustained us during the ups and downs of the past months.
To God be all the glory, honor, and praise!!

Visit to Brandon

Anna Grace and I were so excited to see Layne this weekend! I couldn't believe how much she had changed in just 5 days!!
Anna Grace said she looked like a baby doll! She is so small she can actually wear some of Lily's baby doll clothes!!

Sweet Feet!
Breisch and Angie were so sweet to take all the kids to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday afternoon. The kids loved it! When they got back we all hung out in Nana & PopPop's backyard while the kids played.
Gage

Reid and Anna Grace love the disk swing.
Gage loved having Anna Grace & Lily drive him around the yard.

Pierce Street Pride Chorus

Happy Birthday Baby Layne

Kristina, Hamp, Reid and Lily welcomed a tiny little miracle into their family. Sweet baby Layne Grace Gaston was born on Thursday, Oct. 14th weighing 4 lbs 1oz and 16 1/2 inches long. She was diagnosed with a chromosomal abnormality called Trisomy 18 and a severe heart defect. We weren't sure if she would live through delivery. But God is so good and Layne was able to go home from the hospital six days after she was born. She was not able to take a bottle so Kris feeds her through an NG tube. We are all so thankful that God is allowing us time with her and know that He will use her precious life to touch many hearts.

Football Rivalry

Walker and Sam couldn't wait until their flag football teams played each other. The Jets and Saints finally faced off, and the boys had the best time. There were lots of smiles on the field that night - especially when they blocked each other!!

Happy Halloween!

We were all so happy that Angie and Rhett's neighborhood decided to trick-or-treat on Sunday night since our family spent Saturday night cheering on the Bulldogs!! We enjoyed dinner and lots of trick-or-treating! Thanks Angie and Rhett!

Celebrating with Chuck E Cheese

We celebrated Walker's 7th birthday at Chuck E Cheese with lots of his friends and family. I was thrilled that we were having it at Chuck's since all I would need to do was to show up with a cake! It ended up being on of his best parties. The kids all had so much fun running around playing games, cashing in tickets and cutting up on stage. Walker had so much fun that he didn't even eat any cake! Now that's a great party!!
