Anna Grace is a definite DIVA!!! She went to a birthday party at Little Diva's this past Friday and came home all dolled up. Of course, she had to strike some poses for the camera!

Last Soccer Game
(back) Walker, Landon Sample and Mick Austin.
Not pictured: Triston Williams
Walker's last soccer game was VERY cold and windy. They boys played hard and were glad to celebrate afterwards with a pizza party at the Austins' house. Walker was especially excited to get a soccer trophy! Now...on to T-Ball!

"SON-rise" Celebration
Our church had a "Son-rise" Celebration on Saturday morning. They enjoyed making a sand art cross, hunting Eater eggs, listening to the story of Jesus and having a yummy snack. Anna Grace and Walker had a great time!

Our Star Reader
Love to Sing!
Anna Grace's school choir has been practicing for months for their spring performance. They were terrific! They swam as fish under the sea, danced on the rooftops, and rocked out Camp Rock. They even had a guest drummer! The kids definitely had a great time showing off their singing talents!
More Soccer
Walker is still loving soccer and doesn't seem to mind the freezing cold or the muddy fields. I can't believe we only have 1 more game left this season, then it is on to T-ball!

"I am Olga Korbut"
The 2nd grade students at Anna Grace's school participated in a wax museum. Each student selected a famous person they wanted to research. They wrote a short report, gave an oral presentation in class, and created a display board about the person they chose. Later in the week all the students came dressed as the person they selected and presented their wax museum to families and other classes. There were "buttons" on the floor in front of each student. When someone stepped on a student's button, the student stood up and explained who they were and why they were famous. It was very educational and entertaining!

Anna Grace chose Olga Korbut who was a Russian gymnast in the 1972 Munich Olympics. She is credited with bringing acrobatics to the sport of gymnastics. She was was the first Russian gymnast to show emotion so the world loved her. Thousands of girls began gymnastics training after watching Olga in the Olympics that year.

Spring Break '09
We were all so glad when Spring Break finally got here. I think we were all ready for some R&R, but we did have some fun too.

Hanging at the Park
One afternoon we headed out to Ballard Park. Walker loves the skate park and tries lots of the tricks he sees the older boys do - luckily we didn't end up in the ER! Anna Grace enjoys the safety of her bike!

Trip to Brandon
By the end of the first weekend Spring Break, the kids and I were going stir crazy with all the rain so we headed Brandon to visit my family. The kids had a great time playing with Reid and Lily (my sister's kids.) Anna Grace decided she would be Lily's babysitter for the 3 days. I'm not sure how Lily felt about that! Walker and Reid were double trouble! Not really, but they did have a great time doing playing catch, jumping in the "jumpy thing" and doing other "boy things."
Where did it go?
Helping in the kitchen. I'm sure Nana loved that!My kids are so deprived! This was their first experience with Cheeze Whiz! They're hooked!
We Love Hotels!
The kids were so excited to get to stay in a hotel while we were in Jackson. They especially loved the indoor pool!
