Summer is for Golf!

Walker is loving some golf this summer! We have more divots in our front yard that the Country Club! The driver is his favorite because he can hit it really far! But he he hates that I make him use waffle golf balls in the front year because they don't go very far (but they keep my windows intact!) Walker loves afternoons when Scott takes him out to play 9 holes. He gets to ride in the golf cart and use all 3 of his golf clubs! I think he is going to love golf as much as his Daddy does.

Snaggle Tooth

One of Anna Grace's teeth has been loose for probably 8 months. She refused to let anyone touch it and didn't wiggle it very much. Every time I would ask about the tooth, she would close her mouth and run out of the room. I'm not sure what she thought I was going to do to it. I've only pulled one of the 6 teeth that she has lost - she has pulled all the rest!
Last week the tooth was barely hanging on and it was really worrying Anna Grace. She really wanted to pull it so that it didn't fall out in the pool or while she slept. So last Saturday night, she got her nerve up and pulled it out on the 1st try! She was so proud and the $3 the Tooth Fairy brought her! Now we have to start working on the other slightly loose tooth!

Cups for Kids

Yesterday, the kids along with Avery set up their own lemonade stand at the end of the driveway. They were so excited to design their own sign and to get their stand set up just the way they wanted it. They called it "Cups for Kids" because they are donating all the money to the Salvation Army for homeless children in the Tupelo area. They sold pink and yellow lemonade for 25 cents a cup. The squeals of delight made me smile when they made their 1st sale. At the end of the day, they raised about $20! They decided they would continue the lemonade stand through the end of July so they could raise more money to help children in our area.

CAMP!

Waiting!

Ready to get see their cabin.

With their counselor - Sarah Catherine
Loving camp already!
Cabin 1 - what a sweet group of girls!
Last day of camp! They all said they had a great time. Notice how they are all so clean and cute in the previous pictures, but by the last day they definitely had "the camp look!"
Anna Grace recently returned from her 1st trip to camp! My how my little girl is growing up! Her good friend Adrienne went with her and they had a great time at Camp Lake Stephens. She said her favorite things was swimming in the pool and playing in the creek. She only stayed for a 3 days camp, but has decided that she will go to a 1 week camp next year (we'll see!) Here are a few pictures from when we dropped them off on Monday and picked them up on Wednesday. As soon as we get Anna Grace's disposable camera developed, I'll post more.

String, String and more Silly String!

Walker's new favorite toy--Silly String. He wants to buy it every time we are at the store. He said Silly String make makes really good "bird traps" in the trees!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

I am so thankful that Anna Grace and Walker have such a loving Daddy! We thank God for him everyday. Happy Birthday!

Happy 4th!

Reagan & Avery Ray with Anna Grace and Walker
We had a busy 4th of July weekend! Friday night we went to a celebration at the country club. They had lots of games for the kids, wonderful food and a fabulous fireworks show. We all had a wonderful time.
On Saturday night we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Leigh Ann and Reagan's house. The girls played dress up and the boys hit golf balls outside.

Quick Trip to Jackson

The kids and I tagged along with Scott when he worked in Jackson for 2 days. The kids had a great time staying in a hotel for 2 nights and swimming in the indoor pool. Leigh Ann, Reagan, and their kids were in Jackson at the same time so the kids got to swim together. Later that night they had a great time playing outside while we waited on our table for dinner.

We also got to see Nana and PopPop. Their church had their 4th of July celebration on Wednesday night, and we were so glad that we were able to hear them sing with the choir.
