In a full run to get to the next house!
Angie and Rhett hosted the family and a few friends for an evening of trick-or-treating, dinner and football. The kids all looked so cute in their costumes and were ready to collect some candy. They literally ran to every house in the neighborhood! After trick-or-treating, we had a wonderful meal and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. Of course, we also enjoyed watching the Dawgs win!

Dancing with Daddy

We had a great time at the TCC Halloween Carnival. The kids enjoyed playing lots of games. They were really interested in the haunted house, but never got the nerve to go in. We all enjoyed a good meal and some good tune!

Scarecrow in the Making

Walker's teacher gave us homework last week--not just Walker but the whole family! Our task was to make a scarecrow! So Walker and I set out to make a scarecrow using things around the house and some creativity. Walker picked out the fabric, helped stuff the head and cut out the clothes. We hot glued him all together and even made a cap for him. I think our little MSU scarecrow turned out pretty cute.

Soccer

With the monsoon season in Tupelo, Walker has only played 2 soccer games. He has been totally upset by all the rain. In fact, he informed us that he wanted to move to China where it didn't rain all the time so he could play soccer! He loves soccer and gets upset when he has to sit out so that team mates can play. So glad we'll have dry weather this week so he can play his last couple of games.

Meeting Baby Gage

Lily and Gage
Walker and Reid - striking a Super Hero Pose!

Lily and AG
Breisch and Angie, my brother and his wife, had their first baby on Sept. 28th. We went to Brandon this past weekend to meet sweet baby Gage. Anna Grace was beside herself waiting to hold him. She did a great job and even rocked him to sleep! She is going to make a wonderful mommy one day! Lily even held Gage for a little bit! Walker and Reid met Gage and then headed off to play. They were not at all interested in holding him! We had a great time visiting with Nana & PopPop, Kris & Hamp, and Breisch and Angie over the weekend.

Happy 6th Birthday Walker!

We celebrated Walker's 6th Birthday at the MSU game on Oct. 3rd. Before we left for Starkville, Walker opened a few presents at home. He loved the NorthFace and Ladder Golf that Nana and PopPop sent him. Then he took a few spins on his new Razor Powerwing scooter. Then we headed to the tailgate. The kids had fun playing Ladder Golf, and Walker and Sam practiced their tackle football! It was beautiful weather, and we all had a great day, eventhough the Dawgs didn't win!

Walker's Skating Party

After party supper at D'Casa
Bebe and Daddy Jim
Walker and all his friends and family had a great time at Skate Zone for his 6th birthday party. There were all kinds of scooters and skates all over the rink. They even had a blow up obstacle course that the kids loved! They played Limbo and Wipeout and had a ball running all around the rink! When the party was over, we headed for a post-party supper at D'Casa with Bebe and Daddy Jim.
