Anna Grace's Awards Day & Luau

Thursday was Anna Grace's awards day and end of year luau. She was so excited when she was called up on stage! She got the Spelling, Media, Positive Behavior and Science awards. She was also voted class favorite in Mrs. Bolton's class. We are so proud of the young lady she is becoming. I absolutely cannot believe that she is finished with 3rd grade! She mentioned the other day that she was a 4th grader, and I nearly cried!

Walker the Author

Walker and his class have been working for the last few months on their very own books! They wrote and illustrated each page of the books and even designed the front and back covers. The topic was their favorite things at school this year. What a precious reminder of their Kindergarten year!
Walker has loved being in Mrs. Stidham's class this year.

Singing their hearts out!

The HBC children's choirs sang in church Sunday night. It was absolutely wonderful! They taught us many of God's Hebrew names and their meanings.
Anna Grace even had a part. She demonstrated that we won't find peace through financial success or relationships with others. We will only find peace through faith in God.
Walker's Kindergarten choir sang during prayer meeting Wednesday night. They did a fabulous job and sang their hearts out for Jesus. They even quoted 4 verses from Isaiah! I am so proud of these sweet children! I look forward to watching each one of them ask Jesus into their hearts!

Gymnastics Recital

Anna Grace's gymnastics recital was this weekend. We were all excited to see all she has learned this year. She did great on floor, beam, vault and bar. She was nervous about her backhandspring, but she did great!

Running the Bases

T-ball season has officially started, and Walker couldn't be happier! He absolutely loves baseball! He's on a pretty good little team called the "Slammers." He says his favorite positions to play are pitcher and 1st base.

Tickling the Ivories

Anna Grace played beautifully at her piano recital a few weeks ago. She said she was really nervous, but we couldn't tell. She played "Chugga Chugga Choo-Choo" by Gutierrez and "Stomping Dance" by Goldston. We are so proud of you, Anna Grace!
Anna Grace was so happy her grandparents came to her piano recital.

Kids' Play

We are loving the beautiful weather these days. The kids are just now really enjoying the trampoline. They even showed off their skills with the hullahoop!

Chip's just hanging out!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Walker and his buddies - Robert & Zack
Walker was so excited that his class was going on a field trip to the movies and lunch. They went to see Disney's Oceans. After a long technical delay (imagine 50 kindergartners in a theater with no movie for about 30 minutes!), the movie finally started and we dove under the water for close ups of lots of interesting ocean creatures. Later, when enjoyed lunch at the Varsity Grill. I can't believe this year is nearly over and Walker will soon be in 1st grade. Soon, he won't ask for me to go with him on field trips, but for now I am so glad he does!
