Thanksgiving in Brandon

We all were exited to meet Daniel so we all went straight to Breisch and Angie's house.  Anna Grace couldn't wait to get he hands on him!!  I think everyone got a chance to hold him, except Walker!  He opted out!

He is such a sweet baby and didn't make a peep while we were passing him around.

The boys had fun playing outside for awhile.

He headed over to Nana's and PopPop's house later that afternoon.  Reid and Lily ended up spending the night and the kids had so much fun.

The morning ritual is making omelets!!  Walker loves making his!
Later that morning we had a little photo session, mostly to get Nana's & PopPop's Christmas card picture, but I usually tried to get mine too!

Of course, you know who hogged the baby the whole day!!  She is going to be such a good mommy one day!

Later that afternoon we all enjoyed watching a little football.

We are so blessed to be able to spend time with our family!  We are so thankful for them!

New Addition to the Stallings Family

My brother Breisch and his wife Angie started their adoption journey last year.  Although they already had 2 children, they felt God calling them to adopt.  The week before Thanksgiving they received a call that a mom in Texas had chosen them to be her son's parents.  It was amazing to see God work out all the details so that Daniel Louis Stallings could be home in Madison for Thanksgiving!  We couldn't wait to meet him!!

Thanksgiving in Pontotoc

Silly girls got into Bebe's hair pieces!!
Walker and John David enjoyed hanging out.
AG & Char are ready for dessert.

Catherine hamming it up before dessert.
We are so thankful for Bebe & Daddy Jim.

Highlights of November

Scott makes BBQ wings just about every weekend.  Mostly, they are for Walker and his friends.  This day, Walker, Charlie and Jared devoured about 24 wings!!
This is Chips favorite spot when someone is lying on the couch!!

Operation Christmas Child was in November.  Walker, Charlie and Jared enjoyed hamming it up after their performance.
Anna Grace cheered at her first basketball game.

One of Chips favorite perches.
Sam hung out with us one night.  They played lots of Wii and Xbox!

We are looking forward to having lots of cook outs when our pergola is finished!

Happy Halloween 2013

We had a great time trick or treating with all our Wise family!

Pumpkin Carving

The kids tried their hands at carving pumpkins.  They found out that it is a little more difficult (and slimy) than they thought.

Walker didn't mind the slimy too much, but Anna Grace opted for a cleaner option (a plastic bag!)

The finished products turned out pretty cute!!

Fall Choir Concert

Anna Grace's school choir has its first concert in October.  The girls sounded great although they say they look like blueberries in their blue dresses!

Lunch in the Courtyard

Walker loves for me to bring D'Casa to him for lunch.  Although he really loves D'Casa, I think he really likes being able to eat outside in the courtyard with lots of his friends.  It usually takes them 5 minutes to eat and then they spend the last 20 minutes playing!  I'm so glad that he has lots of friends to hang out with at school!
