Invention Fair

Walker's 2nd grade pod did African American Invention Fair. Walker was assigned George Alcorn, Jr. who invented the Imaging X-Ray Spectrometer which determines what a material is made of when it can't be broken down (like when it is on Mars.)  He worked form many different companies and even NASA.

Once Walker figured out what Dr. Alcorn invented, he had to invent something that was similar to or improved Dr. Alcorn's invention.  He invented the Imagining X-Ray Motion Detector which determines the elements in an atmosphere and shows the movement of the elements.

It was a difficult assignment but Walker did a great job learning the information and presenting it at school!
