Walker's Birthday

We've been counting down to Walker's birthday for months! His day at schools was "dood" (good.) Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and he got to blow out a candle on his cupcake. His class even wrote a book about him! Each child drew a picture of Walker and told something about him. Many kids said he was fast! Most of the girls said he was handsome! Looks like Scott and I will have our hands full in a few years! When he got home from school he was anxious to open his presents from all of us. He loved the airplane AG gave him, and the race track my sister gave him. As you can see from the picture, he was very excited about the new basketball but thought that he was going to play with it in his room (with the "Little Tikes basketball goal.) We told him to look around outside for something to go with his new basketball. When he found the new basketball goal in the back of my car, he insisted that we put it together right then (because he was the birthday boy!) Scott and I tried to get that goal up for him, but only got as far as getting the pole up. Hopefully the rest will be up by this coming weekend!

Later we met Scott's parents, Bebe and Daddy Jim, at O'Charlie's for dinner (Walker's choice.) Charlotte, Walker & AG's cousin, came with them. We had a great meal and Walker really liked the MSU belt Bebe & Daddy Jim gave him.
After eating we made our way to the Tupelo Fair. The kids had a great time and didn't even seem tired when we dropped Charlotte off at 10:30 pm! Walker declared that his birthday was the best! (Wow, he hadn't even had the party yet!)
